Robert Young Pelton (born July 25, 1955) is a Canadian-American conflict journalist and best-selling author renowned for his firsthand reporting from the world's most dangerous war zones and lawless regions. As a recurring guest on late-night radio, he became widely known for his books The World's Most Dangerous Places, Come Back Alive, and The Adventurist, as well as his exclusive battlefield interview with captured American fighter John Walker Lindh in Afghanistan.
