John McAfee (September 18, 1945 - June 23, 2021) was a British-American computer programmer and entrepreneur who founded McAfee Associates in 1987, creating one of the first commercial antivirus software programs. On Art Bell's programs, he became known for his outspoken views on cybersecurity, government surveillance, cryptocurrency advocacy, and his turbulent later years living as a self-described fugitive across Central America and beyond.
