Dr. Jesse Marcel Jr. (1943–2013) was a physician and the son of Major Jesse Marcel, the intelligence officer who first recovered debris from the Roswell crash site in 1947, recognized for his firsthand testimony of handling unusual wreckage as an eleven-year-old boy. As a guest on late-night radio, his book The Roswell Legacy and his lifelong commitment to sharing his family's story made him one of the most important firsthand witnesses to the Roswell incident.
