Dr. Hank Wesselman (1941–2021) was a paleoecologist and anthropologist recognized for his unusual dual career as a mainstream field scientist and a practitioner of shamanic journeying, documenting his experiences in a series of visionary books. On Art Bell's programs, his Spiritwalker trilogy and his academic credentials brought a rare scientific legitimacy to the exploration of shamanic states of consciousness and nonordinary reality.
