Art Bell welcomes Linda Jamison and Terry Jamison, identical twin sisters known as the Psychic Twins, who use automatic writing to channel information from what they describe as the Akashic Records. They explain this as an etheric band surrounding Earth where all actions and thoughts are recorded, distinct from channeling individual spirits. The twins describe how they independently produce identical written predictions when working in separate rooms.

The sisters offer a series of millennium prophecies, including an AIDS cure by 2006, breast cancer prevention by 2008, a stock market crash around 2003, and two-way voice communication with other dimensions as early as 2012. They predict that George W. Bush will win the next presidential election and foresee cloning of body parts becoming reality in the near future. They also claim to have predicted the Egypt Air Flight 990 crash the day before it occurred through their automatic writing practice.

Callers press the twins on topics ranging from the New Madrid fault to the third secret of Fatima, the tenth planet theory, and the prospect of Quebec separating from Canada. The twins share their Buddhist practice and explain how meditation and grounding techniques help them manage the emotional toll of psychic work, particularly when communicating with spirits of the recently deceased.

Key Moments

  1. Art's thrust-reverser theory for EgyptAir 990: Returning from Mackinac Island, Art lays out his Occam's-razor case that EgyptAir 990 went from 33,000 feet at 550 mph into the ocean in 36 seconds because of an uncommanded thrust-reverser deployment, citing a Chicago Tribune piece on 767 history and breaking CNN news that a crew member had written up the very reverser before it was deactivated in Los Angeles.

  2. Y2K predicted to be a non-event, but Tennessee race riot in 2001: Asked about Y2K disruption, the Jamisons predict only minor problems and 'a few fires,' nothing major. Unprompted they then add that they did see a specific race riot in Tennessee in 2001, the only specific answer they got when asking about race riots.

  3. Bush will win the 2000 election: Asked who the next president might be, both Jamison sisters say they think Bush is going to win, a year before the actual 2000 election; Art notes 'another Bush.'

  4. Quebec independence within a year: A Montreal caller asks if Quebec will separate from Canada; both sisters say yes, and pinpoint that it could happen within one year.

  5. JonBenet Ramsey: parents involved, but no conviction: Asked about the JonBenet Ramsey murder, the Jamisons say they saw the parents being involved from the very beginning but predict they will not be convicted.
