Loyd Auerbach (born May 2, 1956) is a parapsychologist, mentalist, and author recognized as one of the foremost investigators of hauntings and psychic phenomena in the United States. As a professor at JFK University and director of the Office of Paranormal Investigations, he has authored numerous books including ESP, Hauntings and Poltergeists and Ghost Hunting: How to Investigate the Paranormal, bringing academic rigor to the study of ghostly encounters.
