James McCanney is a physicist and mathematician who developed alternative theories about comets as electrically discharging bodies and the electrical nature of the solar system, challenging mainstream astrophysical models. On Art Bell's programs, he has argued that NASA and the scientific establishment have suppressed the true plasma physics of planetary formation, weather systems, and cosmic interactions.
