David Adair is a self-described former child prodigy in rocket propulsion and a space technology consultant who claims to have built an electromagnetic containment fusion rocket engine as a teenager in the early 1970s. On Art Bell's programs, he has recounted his alleged visit to Area 51, where he says he was shown an alien propulsion system of extraordinary sophistication that influenced his lifelong work in advanced aerospace concepts.
