Cleve Backster

Cleve Backster (1924–2013) was a leading polygraph expert and former CIA interrogation specialist who became renowned for his controversial experiments demonstrating what he termed "primary perception" - the apparent ability of plants and living cells to respond to human thoughts and emotions. As a guest on late-night radio, his decades of biocommunication research, documented in Primary Perception, challenged fundamental assumptions about consciousness and the boundaries of sentient awareness.
