Crop CirclesField InvestigationProject ArgusUnexplained Phenomena

Chad Deetken is a Canadian crop-circle investigator who founded Pacific Research and conducted fieldwork in Canada and southern England. He participated in Project Argus, a 1992 surveillance effort organized to record crop-circle formation activity, and wrote about plant, soil, and photographic evidence reported at formation sites. In his Area 2000 interview with Art Bell, Deetken compared cases from England, Canada, and the United States while separating observed site conditions from proposed causes. The recovered audio had previously been transcribed as “Chad Deacon”; contemporary Project Argus records establish the spelling Deetken.
