Benjamin Creme

Benjamin Creme (1922–2016) was a Scottish artist and esotericist recognized for his decades-long promotion of the imminent emergence of Maitreya, whom he described as a world teacher from the spiritual hierarchy destined to guide humanity into a new age of peace and sharing. As a guest on late-night radio, his unwavering proclamations about Maitreya's presence and his elaborate cosmology drawn from the Theosophical tradition made him one of the most distinctive spiritual voices of the era.
