Ann Druffel (1926–2020) was a Los Angeles-based UFO investigator and author who began examining sighting reports in 1957. She worked with the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena, the Mutual UFO Network, and the Center for UFO Studies, and also researched accounts of psychic phenomena. Her books combined case histories, biography, and advice based on her interpretation of reported alien encounters. On Art Bell's program she discussed how investigators evaluate testimony and presented her proposed abduction-defense techniques; the archive treats those techniques as her claims rather than established findings.
