Art Bell welcomes Major Ed Dames of PSI Tech for a program that builds toward a long-anticipated revelation about what remote viewers call the discontinuity. The first hour covers current events including the Iraq weapons crisis, with Dames drawing on his background as a former biological warfare case officer to explain the realities of weaponizing chemical and biological agents. He notes that while Saddam Hussein possesses dangerous stockpiles, effective deployment requires sophisticated science that limits their actual threat.

Dames provides updates on several PSI Tech projects, including remote viewing the botched Mossad assassination attempt on a Hamas leader, which he says traced back to a bacterial toxin produced at a facility within Israel. He also discusses the company's finding that the next nuclear weapon used in anger will involve North Korea launching a missile-mounted device. Art presses Dames on the Kardashev civilization scale and the risks facing humanity's transition from Type 0 status.

The program culminates with Dames revealing the nature of the discontinuity, the barrier past which remote viewers could not perceive the future. After extensive cross-checking, his team concluded it is a catastrophic solar event, a massive discharge from the sun that will scorch the exposed surface of the Earth. Dames explains that the event felt like death to remote viewers attempting to perceive it, which is why they initially could not identify its nature.

Key Moments

  1. Remote viewers slipped in time before the military program was even formed: Asked when the team realized remote viewers could see past and future, not just present, Dames says it began in the SRI laboratory before the military unit was stood up - viewers were describing targets a day in advance or further up the docket. The need to 'tighten that structure up' was driven by researchers needing tight time-controls to keep selling the program to the Department of Defense.

  2. SciTech identified the agent and method in the botched Mossad assassination of a Hamas leader: Dames says one SciTech project that survived their drawdown of initiative work targeted the botched Mossad attempt on a Hamas leader (Khaled Mashal), in which Netanyahu was going through 'public relations hell.' The remote viewers, he claims, identified the actual agent, the actual item used in the attack, and how the Israelis applied it - a session he plans to post to the SciTech site.

  3. Dames reveals the Discontinuity - a historically unprecedented solar event: After weeks of teasing, Dames finally names the long-anticipated 'discontinuity': a very massive, historically unprecedented solar event - most likely an enormous solar flare producing X-ray, gamma, and proton radiation - a storm the likes of which has not been seen in at least 12,000 years, and one that he says will eradicate or erase most living things on the surface of the Earth. He warns it is 'right around the corner.'
