Art Bell welcomes futurist Gordon Michael Scallion to discuss his Earth change predictions and the visions that transformed his life. Scallion recounts how a sudden loss of his voice in 1979 led to a mystical hospital experience where a mysterious woman revealed future events to him. He describes his process of seeing three simultaneous "screens" showing probable futures for individuals and the planet.

The conversation turns to Scallion's forecast for July 1998 and beyond. He warns of accelerating volcanic activity along the Ring of Fire, major earthquakes exceeding magnitude seven on the West Coast, and erratic weather patterns driven by changes in the sun's magnetic field. He explains that a magnetic pole shift is already underway, beginning in the 1930s, and predicts a series of six-to-seven degree magnetic jolts occurring over a three-year window that will trigger tectonic upheaval and massive weather disruptions.

Scallion also addresses the deeper forces at work, connecting solar cycles to shifts in Earth's core plasma and the planet's magnetic envelope. He shares that he now sees only one screen remaining for the future, indicating these events have moved from probable to near certain. Callers press him on preparations, insurance concerns, and whether individual action can still lessen the severity of what lies ahead.

Key Moments

  1. 1979: voice freezes mid-sentence on a sailboat client call: Scallion describes the precise moment in 1979 his life changed: living aboard a 30-foot sloop in Florida, mid-presentation with clients his larynx simply stopped working. He drove himself to the hospital, was admitted for observation with two IVs in his arms, and that night just as Johnny Carson came on at 11:30 the room filled with a swirling sphere of light containing an elderly woman who told him to write things down.

  2. Doctor confirms IVs were saline only - and the predictions came true: The next morning Scallion can speak again. He demands to know what was in the IVs, certain a drug caused the visions; the doctor tells him it was just saline for dehydration. A friend with an MD and dream-therapy training takes him sailing, brings the morning paper a week later - a plane crash matching one of the headlines the woman dictated. Every item on the list manifested.

  3. Acupuncturist: blackened toenails, lost leg hair - Kundalini: Scallion goes to an acupuncturist in desperation about throbbing headaches and rapid eye-blinking. Without examining his head the practitioner orders his shoes off, points out blackened toenails and that the hair on the inside of his legs is completely gone, then asks if he knows what the Kundalini is and gives him a book that finally explains the mystical hospital experience.

  4. Magnetic pole shift: three six-degree jerks between 1998 and 2001: Reading from Notes from the Cosmos, Scallion's guide tells him a magnetic pole shift began in the mid-1930s as the Earth's core shifted relative to Polaris, and earthquakes and volcanoes are reactions to electromagnetic forces, not the cause. He then specifies it will not be a 180-degree flip but a series of three abrupt six-or-seven-degree westward jerks within a 1998-2001 window.

  5. Shattered glass on the West Coast, tent cities at the Nevada border: Scallion describes the recurring vision behind his Future Map: 200-300 mph winds blowing plate glass out of high-rise buildings until streets are buried in shards and bury cars; caravans of cars with headlights crossing the desert at night out of California into military tent cities established on the Nevada border. He says the first shaking quakes that begin this sequence will hit this summer.
