Speaking Wind Patrick Quirk, a Native American author of Pueblo descent, joins Art Bell to discuss earth changes, ancient prophecy, the fourth world, and the transition toward 2012. Raised by spiritual elders Grandfather Two Bears and White Eagle in the mountains of northern New Mexico, Speaking Wind discusses ancient prophecy describing four distinct worlds of approximately 10,000 years each, with humanity now approaching the end of the fourth world. He places the final day at December 22, 2012, after which a fifth world of peace begins for those who survive the transition.

Speaking Wind describes a planetary cleansing that began in June 1998, marked by waves of unexplained depression and anxiety felt worldwide. He connects these effects partly to HAARP technology, which he says interferes with Earth's magnetic field and disrupts human behavior, bird migration, and marine life. He warns of rising sea levels exceeding 65 feet, reawakening Pacific Ring volcanoes, and ocean-borne bacteria already causing illness among swimmers off California and Florida.

The conversation turns philosophical as Speaking Wind counsels listeners on releasing fear and embracing self-knowledge. He estimates roughly one in a thousand people will physically survive into the fifth world, though he emphasizes that no soul is ultimately lost. He shares the Pueblo teaching that Venus was once a runaway planet whose near-collision with Earth destroyed a primordial garden, an event imprinted on all living things.

Key Moments

  1. Venus as the runaway planet that stole the garden: Speaking Wind tells Bell that Venus is a rogue planet that entered the solar system, knocked another world into the asteroid belt, stripped Mars of its atmosphere, then tore everything from the surface of Earth before settling into its retrograde orbit - and that survivors, emerging from underground, named it 'the planet that stole our love.'

  2. Final cleansing began June 1998: Speaking Wind dates the start of the Earth's final cleansing to June 1998, says chaos will escalate from January-April 1999 through the May 5, 2000 nine-planet alignment, and ends on December 22, 2012. He warns the polar ice will melt and coastlines will rise more than 65 feet - erasing New York, LA, San Francisco, Seattle.

  3. HAARP can stop the return to the garden: Speaking Wind names HAARP as the single thing that could prevent humanity's return to the fifth-world garden, says it traces back to suppressed Tesla research seized in 1943, and warns it is interfering with the Earth's magnetic field - causing memory loss, depression, beached whales, disoriented birds, and lost fish.

  4. One in a thousand survives the transition: Pressed by Bell on what fraction of the world's population will survive into the fifth world, Speaking Wind answers 'about one in a thousand under norman.' Bell pushes back that this is hardly the optimistic 'not gloom and doom' message Speaking Wind keeps framing it as.
